Your Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Sandra Nairooz's remarkable journey from Cairo, Egypt, to becoming a distinguished orthodontist in the United States is a testament to her determination and passion for orthodontics. Despite cultural hurdles, she pursued her dream of education in America, earning her dental degrees from esteemed institutions. Her artistic inclination and family medical background fostered her commitment to orthodontics, a field where she could create confident smiles and prioritize airway and whole-health-focused treatments.
With a diverse educational background, including degrees from Ain Shams University, The State University of New York at Buffalo, and a fellowship in Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Sandra solidified her expertise. She even practiced as a dentist for over 5 years before completing her Orthodontics residency program and earning her Master of Science in Dentistry degree at Jacksonville University. Her pursuit of mastery led her to Dr. Richard McLaughlin's prestigious postgraduate orthodontic program. As a board-certified orthodontist, with over a decade of clinical practice, she signifies the pinnacle of dedication to excellence in her field and enjoys sharing her knowledge lecturing in dental societies and teaching to dental students.
Dr. Sandra's vision is embodied in Solana Orthodontics. After practicing for 10 years, Dr Sandra wanted to create a practice that redefines orthodontic care. Her focus extends beyond traditional treatments, emphasizing comprehensive well-being, sleep apnea diagnosis, airway analysis, and patient education. Dedicated to enhancing lives, Dr. Sandra offers airway consultations for all ages. She aims to make orthodontic care seamless for fellow busy moms and create an experience where patients are celebrated as friends and family.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Sandra finds joy in spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their two kids, Luke and Celine, traveling, and engaging in community service. Her journey represents not only a commitment to dentistry but also a dedication to uplifting lives through personalized, compassionate care.

Get to Know Andrew Hanna, DDS, MD, FAACS
Your Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Hanna is a third generation physician who followed in his father’s footsteps to become an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received both his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) and graduated with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Hanna completed his General Surgery Internship and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at the UT Health Science Center and its affiliated hospitals in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Hanna’s passion for cosmetic surgery led him to further advance his training beyond residency. He completed a one year highly competitive Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) dedicated to cosmetic surgery of the face and body.
During his fellowship training, Dr. Hanna has performed more than 700 cosmetic surgery cases of the face, breast, and body. He was mentored by well recognized surgeons in the field of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Hanna’s understanding of the intricate anatomy of the head and neck, his extensive training in complex reconstructive surgeries of the face and neck has bolstered his acumen for naturally looking facial, breast and body aesthetics.
Dr. Hanna’s facial cosmetic surgery scope of practice includes Face and Neck lift, Rhinoplasty, Brow lift and Eyelid surgery as well as Skin resurfacing and Hair Restoration procedures. His breast and body practice include Breast augmentation, Corrective breast surgeries, Breast lift and Reduction, Tummy tuck, Brachioplasty, Brazilian Butt lift and Liposuction. Dr. Hanna’s Maxillofacial surgery scope includes wisdom teeth extraction, Corrective jaw surgery, Facial trauma, TMJ reconstruction, Dental implants, and Bone grafting.
Dr. Hanna has full Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery privileges at Methodist Hospitals in San Antonio. Dr. Hanna has publications in both Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as Cosmetic Surgery literature. He regularly presents on cutting edge topics in the field of Cosmetic Surgery at regional and national meetings. Dr. Hanna was voted by his patients as Texas Best Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr. Hanna’s love for his family is nothing less than his profession. He is married to his wife Sandra who is an orthodontist in private practice and blessed with his son Luke and daughter Celine. When not operating, Dr. Hanna enjoys traveling, swimming, playing soccer and spending time with the most valuable people in his life. He also serves his local church community on the weekends.

First, we will create a 3D digital impression of your teeth and bite using our iTero® scanner and take a 3D ultra low-radiation radiographic image with a green Vatech CBCT.
Then, Dr. Sandra will do a thorough evaluation of your smile, facial structure, and airway using the latest in orthodontic technology. By focusing on your overall well-being, she will design your personalized treatment plan providing the best care for your needs and desired outcome. Our treatment coordinator will then help you pick a financial option that works best for you and your budget.
